To Dream, Perchance to Brainstorm
Got a great idea? Rip it to shreds.
Turn it upside down and inside out. Does it still float?
An idea fully realized is a beautiful thing. A product or service designed to accomplish its goal and reward the user and the provider is a joy for both.
Too often businesses try to launch new products or services without giving them the time to completely gel. Before you go headlong into production, take a breath and take stock. Is it designed for its intended audience? Do you really understand its intended audience? Can we market it to a broader audience if we do it differently? Can we make it fun and functional?
A brainstorm session can be pivotal in determining design, branding your product or service and finding a target audience. Once you have your brilliant idea get a group together and don’t hold back. No ideas are too crazy for this private forum; let them fly and see if they can stick to the wall and hold on.
You might find a whole new market for your service. Your product may be of interest to consumers you hadn’t considered before.
Form following function, ahhh. See how good that feels?
