Finding a balance between artistic license and searchability

Throughout our latest web-based project, we worked closely with our client, LLa Architecture, to find the perfect balance between artistic form and search engine function. Given an artfully presented design that was originally built in Flash, our challenge was to create a searchable site that would perform solidly over many platforms.
Working together through a collaborate process of trial and error, we decided that building the site in HTML rather than Flash would be the best solution. This approach met the functional requirements of the project while providing a design that reflects our client’s unique sense of aesthetics.
